We're looking for some folks who can volunteer regularly! There is a great group of 4th and 5th grade students who are enthusiastic about Student Leadership at Mead! They've got some big ideas and to help bring those ideas to life we need some parent support. Ms. Hanna is the teacher leading the large group of students that meets every Thursday at 11:30. These kids are giving up their lunch recess once a week to be leaders at Mead. If you've got 30 mins on a thursday to spare consider signing up to help!
All volunteers must be an approved LWSD volunteer.

In the LINKS Lunch Buddy Program, we bring students together with caring adults. Mentors come during school hours once a week and spend the lunch hour in a pre-assigned area to eat, play games, make crafts, talk and do other agreed-upon activities. Mentors provide support to students who need a little extra one-on-one attention.
LINKS Lunch Buddy mentors help students feel engaged, supported and challenged which can improve students' confidence and help students acquire the skills needed for lifelong success, in school and beyond. Studies have shown that children with mentors are more likely to succeed.
